Will the event take place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi?
Yes, the venue remains the same, MEFCC 2026 will take place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
ADNEC is easily accessible by road from Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai and is only a 15-minute trip from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

What happens to my hotel booking? Will there be support for rescheduling accommodations?

I have already booked accommodation/transfers through the Official Hospitality Partners Atelier by Informa, HotelMap, or Elevate – how can I change my booking?
Thank you for booking your accommodation/transfers through MEFCC. We have proactively reached out to all the hotels to request a full refund on your behalf. You do not need to take any action. I booked my hotel/transfers through a third party or directly with the hotel - how can I update my booking?
If you have booked through a third party or directly with the hotel, we recommend contacting the third party directly with the official statement from MEFCC. We can provide official communication to support your claim if required. Should you need accommodation or transfers for the revised dates, you can book directly with our team. I have already booked my flights for MEFCC in April.
We recommend contacting your airline directly to reschedule your flights. Many airlines offer flexible options for changes, and their customer service teams will be able to assist you with the process. If you need further support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@mefcc.com.
September will be hot. How are you going to manage that?
The indoor venue is fully air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable experience for all attendees. Additionally, we are working to ensure that any outdoor activities are designed with comfort in mind.
What does an extension on the Short Film Competition deadline mean?
Due to MEFCC 2026 being postponed, we will be re-opening the submission window for the Short Film Competition, so that we can allow more film makers to submit their films, as well as give an opportunity to those who have already submitted their entries to resubmit their movies with enhancements if needed. There will be more updates to be shared soon on the new submission deadlines.
How can I resubmit my Short Film Competition entry?
Our team will contact all the film makers that have submitted their entries via FilmFreeway to confirm their entries. Should you choose to resubmit the same film, or submit a completely different entry, we will note that and guide you to the portal to complete the process.
How much is Parking?
MEFCC will be taking place in Halls 8-11 & ICC Halls 1-4. The closest parking are Car Parks A and B. Once parked, please proceed to the Registration area in ICC Halls 2-4.

What is your photography policy?
Photography is allowed in most areas at MEFCC. Staff on site will inform attendees if photography is not allowed in an area.
We ask allow people taking photos to be respectful of peoples wishes and ask permission before taking a photo.
Please Note: By entering MEFCC, the ticket holder grants Informa Global Exhibitions, and their respective agents the unrestricted right and license to use the holder’s name, likeness and voice in any production, reproduction, distribution, transmission, publication, public performance, broadcast or exhibition of advertisements, broadcast or telecast of the Event, promotions, contests, photograph taken, or other transmission or reproduction in connection with the Event for any purpose, without compensation.
I lost something where is lost and found?
Any lost property will be handed to the ADNEC Security Office located on Level 1 by Car Park B, between Capital Suites 10 and 11. Please see the location here. You can report any missing items by visiting Hall 9 Organiser Office.
Will WIFI be available?
WiFi will be available to all attendees by connecting to the ADNEC venue free WiFi. Please note this is an unspported open WiFi network and connectivity may vary.
Can I bring a bag to MEFCC?
Yes, bags will be allowed and will be subject to a search before entering.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, strollers are allowed but keep in mind the show floor will be busy.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed into the venue

First aid is located between Halls 7 & 8, please find the location here. You can contact First Aid by calling 02 406 4444 or via Hall 9 Organiser Office.
Ticketing FAQs
Will my ticket be automatically transferred to the new dates?
Yes, your ticket(s) remain valid for the September dates. Our ticketing team will reshare your tickets to reflect the updated dates. You do not need to do anything from your side.
I have purchased my ticket for April, will it still be valid for the new dates?
Yes, your ticket remains valid and will be automatically transferred to the new event dates.
I cannot attend due to the date change and I want a refund. How can I request one?
Refunds can be requested until 7 April 2026. Please contact the ticketing provider you purchased your ticket from to process the refund. For any additional questions or issues, contact us at tickets@mefcc.com for assistance.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else if I can’t attend in September?
Yes, your tickets can be transferred or gifted if you are unable to make it
Will there be compensation for those who can’t attend due to the date change?
Refunds are available within the specified time window until 7th April 2026. Please contact our official ticketing partner (Platinumlist Live or Virgin Tickets) you have purchased from. For any other enquiries email us at tickets@mefcc.com for further assistance.
How do I get a ticket to MEFCC?
You can purchase a ticket to MEFCC on Platinumlist or Virgin Tickets online or you can visit any Virgin Megastore of your choice to purchase your ticket in-store. Tickets are also available onsite, however, door prices will go up!
How much does it cost to attend MEFCC?
We have multiple tickets available on sale.

Where will I be able to purchase tickets at the venue?
Tickets will be on sale at the Ticketing Hall in ICC Halls 2-3 on event days. If you have purchased a ticket online or in advance, please head to the Ticket Collection Desks to pick up your wristband!
Do Kids enter for free?
Children 6 years and below enter free, 7 – 11 years old need to pay AED 50 at the door.
When can I pick up my badge?
Not all visitors will receive a badge, however, it is mandatory for you to collect and have your wristband at all times to be granted entry.
Are standard tickets limited?
Standard tickets are not yet sold out - but they're also not unlimited. We always recommend buying them in advance as prices go up at the door.
Does MEFCC have a military discount?
Sorry, MEFCC does not offer a military discount.
What is your Accessibility Policy?

Meet the Stars Access:
To access Meet the Stars, our staff will assist you at the venue to make your access easier, from queuing to Meet the Stars voucher purchase. Please talk to a member of our staff at the ticketing or Meet the Stars Area for more information on this.
Access to the Venue:
Middle East Film & Comic Con will take place at ADNEC. As a venue, ADNEC is wheelchair accessible from toilets, ramps, doorways and corridors with a map at the venue for further guidance.
VIP FAQs
What happens to my VIP ticket for the new dates?
VIP tickets remain valid and will include all the benefits originally promised.
Will there be any changes to ticket categories or benefits due to the date change?
No changes are planned for ticket categories or benefits. All tickets will retain their original inclusions.
When will VIP packages will be on sale?
All VIP tickets are now sold out! Please visit our ticketing page to find out more.
Can I upgrade my ticket?
Of course you can upgrade your ticket and your visit to MEFCC! Please contact the ticket provider you purchased your ticket from to find out the process for upgrading your ticket. Upgrades are subject to ticket availability.
What are the different VIP ticket types?

Can I buy a VIP ticket onsite at the Con?
Ultimate VIP, Super VIP and VIP tickets can only be purchased online in advance. Only standard 1-day and 3-day tickets will be available to purchase at the Con.
Do all VIP ticket holders share the same queue?
No. There will be separate, dedicated fast-track lanes for each VIP ticket type within the autograph and photograph areas. Ultimate VIPs will be allowed through first, followed by Super VIPs second and then VIPs third.
How many Meet The Stars Vouchers are included with my VIP ticket?
Ultimate VIP - 10 Meet the Stars vouchers
Super VIP - 5 Meet the Stars vouchers
VIP - 2 Meet the Stars vouchers
Meet The Stars vouchers cannot be resold. The organiser holds the right to revoke entry and access to the Meet the Stars area.
Can a VIP purchase additional vouchers at Meet The Stars?
Yes! As a VIP you can also purchase additional vouchers via a priority queue at the Meet The Stars area 30-45 minutes prior to a session. You may only purchase a maximum of 3 vouchers per celebrity per day.
What are the redemption rules for Meet The Stars vouchers included in a VIP Ticket?
From your allocation of Meet the Stars vouchers, you can redeem a maximum of 2 vouchers per celebrity for autographs and 2 vouchers per celebrity for photographs.
What are the redemption rules for Meet The Stars vouchers for the headline celebrity?
You will be required to redeem two (2) vouchers for a photograph or an autograph with the Headline Celebrity
Can a minor with a regular/child pass accompany a VIP pass holder in priority lines for autograph sessions and photo opportunities for supervision purposes?
Yes - a minor with a regular/child pass can accompany a VIP or a standard pass holder in the respective queues. Only those with the kids wristband will be allowed.
What is your refund policy?
"We do not offer refunds, for ticket refunds, please contact your ticketing provider and state the reason for the request. Refunds will not be given if a guest cancels.
For Meet the Stars, an autograph or photo voucher can be refunded only if a session gets canceled."
I requested a refund where is my money?
All ticket refunds are handled by our ticketing provider. Please note that it can take 3 – 10 business days for the refund amount to be shown in your account. Please follow up with the ticketing provider and your bank if you don’t see the refunded amount in your account.
I can’t attend can I share my pass with someone.
You can gift a ticket to someone but passes are non-transferable and tickets cannot be shared. You will require the wristband to attend MEFCC and your ticket will be validated upon entry and scanned for verification.

Will the celebrity line-up change due to the date change?
Any updates to the celebrity line-up will be shared on our official channels. Follow us @mefcc
Are the announced celebrities still attending?
We are working to reconfirm talent availability for our news dates, as well as add exciting new talent to the line-up.
How can I meet the celebrities attending MEFCC 2026?
You can meet ALL the celebrities at the ‘Meet the Stars’ zone at MEFCC 2026. The Meet the Stars zone will feature both an Autograph & Photograph Area where you will be able to purchase vouchers for the celebrities of your choice. Watch out for the Meet the Stars schedule on our website and social media pages to make sure you can queue up in time to catch your favorite celebrities.
When will each celebrity be at the Con?
The Meet the Stars schedule will contain all the essential information that you need, including which days, voucher sale timings, autograph and photograph timings. The full schedule will be available on the website, and displayed on screens at the event.
Where can I purchase an autograph or photograph voucher?
Both autograph and photograph vouchers will be available for purchase in the ‘Meet the Stars’ zone.
Can I purchase a celebrity voucher online in advance?
No. To be fair and give all our fans an equal chance to see their heroes, vouchers will only be available to purchase onsite at the Con on a first-come, first-served basis.
If I arrive early, can I purchase vouchers for multiple celebrities at the same time?
No. To be fair and give all our fans an equal chance to see their heroes, you can only purchase vouchers for one celebrity at a time. Once you've got your first autograph or photograph, you can then purchase your next voucher.
Can I purchase vouchers for multiple days at the same time?
No. To be fair and give all our fans an equal chance to see their heroes, you can only purchase vouchers for the autograph or photograph sessions that are scheduled to take place during each day. For example, you will not be permitted to buy vouchers for Saturday and Sunday sessions, when you're at the Con on Friday.
Where do VIPs collect their included vouchers?
VIPs can collect all their included vouchers at the ticketing booth.
Autographs
I've never purchased an autograph voucher before. What's the experience like?
It’s quite simple, you can arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the autograph session start time and wait in the Holding Area. Our staff will guide you to the purchase counter where you can purchase autograph vouchers to meet your favorite celebrities. When you’re at the front of the queue, you will hand over the voucher to our staff and they’ll send you on to get your autograph. If you wish to get your name signed, please inform the staff at the queues in advance. This request can only be fulfilled at the discretion of celebrity.
What are the policies for the Autograph area?
Autograph opportunities are only available for those that are in the queue and have an autograph voucher.Each voucher entitles you to one (1) autograph from the celebrity. Strictly one (1) item to be signed per autograph voucher.Please see the Celebrity page to see the number of vouchers that can be purchased and redeemed per celebrity.Please be respectful of the staff and the policies that have been put in place.
What if the autograph session that I want is sold out?
The best way to avoid missing out is to arrive at the Meet the Stars zone 30 to 45 minutes prior to the autograph session start time. If you arrive just before the autograph session starts, you run the risk of it being sold out. Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis.
Do VIP ticket holders get first access?
Yes! VIP ticket holders get first priority access to purchase and/or redeem both, autographs and photographs. Ultimate VIPs will be allowed through first, followed by Super VIPS second and then Standard VIPs third. Don't slack though VIPs, you still need to be there on time!
I purchased an autograph voucher but would like to use it on a different day, can I do that?
Autograph vouchers are sold strictly per session to ensure that we always know exactly how many fans are coming per session. Consequently, you may only use your autograph voucher for the day that it was purchased.
Can I ask for a selfie while I'm getting my autograph?
Selfies are strictly prohibited in the autograph area. If you would like a picture with the celebrity, you can purchase a photograph voucher in the photograph area.
How long do I have to wait in line to get my autograph?
The amount of time you will need to wait in each queue depends on each celebrity and on your ticket type. Typically, we estimate that it will take 30mins to 60mins but can take longer depending on the celeb. Our VIP ticket holders get first access - Ultimate VIPs will be allowed through first, followed by Super VIPs second and then Standard VIPs third.
Are personal and outside items acceptable for signing?
To ensure MEFCC remains fully compliant with international licensing and IP regulations, One Piece and Pokemon merchandise will not be eligible for signing by any Japanese Voice Actor.
Will celebrities be allowed to sign trading cards?
To ensure MEFCC remains fully compliant with international licensing and IP regulations, One Piece and Pokemon merchandise will not be eligible for signing by any Japanese Voice Actor.
Photograph FAQs
I've never purchased a photograph voucher before. What's the experience like?
It’s quite simple, you can arrive 30 - 45 minutes prior to the photograph session start time and wait in the Holding Area. Our staff will guide you to the purchase counter where you can purchase photograph vouchers to meet your favorite celebrities. When you’re at the front of the queue, you will be asked to hand over the voucher to our staff, drop off all your belongings safely, and proceed into the photograph booth to get your professional photograph with your favorite celebrity. You will need to exit the booth immediately following your photo and collect your belongings. The whole process will take a few seconds. Photograph session times are limited so this ensures that every fan in line will be able to get their photo.
What exactly do I get for my money when I purchase a photograph voucher?
You will receive a high quality glossy 8x10 photograph with an MEFCC photo sleeve, along with a digital copy of yourself and your favorite celebrity, taken by one of our professional photographers.
Can I ask for an autograph while I'm getting my photograph?
Autographs are strictly prohibited in the photograph area but can be purchased in the autograph area.
Can I use my personal camera or mobile phone to take photos in the photograph area?
Personal cameras and mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the photograph area. In addition to your printed photograph, you will also receive a link to download a digital copy of your photo.
What are the policies for the photograph area?
Photograph opportunities are only available for those that are in the queue and have a photograph voucher.Each voucher entitles you to one (1) photograph opportunity with your favorite celebrity.A maximum of 4 (four) people are allowed in one photograph.Only one (1) printed photograph and digital copy will be provided in exchange of one (1) photograph voucher. Cosplay FAQs
What happens to the cosplay competition? Will it still take place?
Yes, the cosplay competition will take place as planned, with an extension in the registration deadlines. More updates will be shared in an official announcement. If you've already registered for the cosplay competition, the team will reach out to you to re-confirm your entry.

Do I have to wear a cosplay?
Attendees do not have to wear a cosplay to attend MEFCC. Attendees are free to wear anything they want if it respects the laws and cultural values of the U.A.E.
What is the age limit for the cosplay competition?
In order to register for the Cosplay Competition (Best Craftsmanship, Best Performance Onstage and World Cosplay Summit Preliminaries), you should be older than 12 years. For 12-year-olds and younger, you can register for the Kids Cosplay Category.
How do I register for the cosplay competition?
You can register for cosplay competition by heading to our Cosplay Competition Registration page: https://www.mefcc.com/home/cosplay-competition/ and filling out the form for the category that you prefer and qualify for.
I haven’t participated in a Cosplay Competition before, which category should I register for?
There are 4 categories that you can register for, and this will all depend on what kind of cosplayer you are:
Kids Cosplay: If you’re 12 years old or below and want to take your first steps into the world of cosplay.
Best Performance Onstage: If you’re a cosplay beginner and would like to test your acting, dances, or character mimicry without too much effort.
Best Craftsmanship: If you’ve mastered both performance and crafting, whether it’s building impressive armour or sewing stunning dresses, you can showcase your work to a panel of judges, receive valuable feedback on how to improve, and even win some cash prizes.
World Cosplay Summit Preliminaries – Team UAE: If you’re a professional cosplayer and want to represent the UAE with a pro-cosplay partner, you’ll have the chance to fly to Japan and compete in the WCS Championship Finals if you qualify.

I’ve partnered with MEFCC, do I need to take any action in regards to the date change?
No, you do not need to take any action. You will be contacted directly by the MEFCC Team to confirm your availability and transfer your partnership to our September dates.
Will my stand/table location be the same?
Yes, your Account Manager will reach out to you with further details and we haven’t made any changes to the exhibition floorplan.
Will the event be the same size?
We are expecting over 46,000 fans, 500+ brands, 80+ entertainment acts, and a great lineup of celebrity guests, comic creators, performers and pro-cosplayers. Hosting MEFCC in September provides additional flexibility for all participants.
Will the official contractors transfer my orders over to the new dates (Excludes Freight)?
Any orders placed with our official contractors have been automatically transferred to the new event dates.
Will the third-party contractors transfer my orders over to the new dates?
We recommend contacting them directly to discuss rescheduling your arrangements to align with the new event dates.
Freight
We understand that the rescheduling of the event may impact arrangements for equipment currently in Abu Dhabi or en route. We recommend contacting your freight forwarder or logistics provider as soon as possible to discuss the best course of action for your specific situation.

What is an Artist Alley?
The Artist Alley is an opportunity for local professional and upcoming artists to showcase and sell their art to MEFCC attendees. Artists may take live commissions and even sell work that are not available anywhere else. This is an opportunity for attendees to explore, interact and support local artists in the region.

Do you have wheelchairs or scooters?
MEFCC does not provide any wheelchairs or scooters directly. ADNEC retains a small number of wheelchairs available for daily or event hire for up to a maximum of 6 hours per day from the ADNEC First Aid Point adjacent to Hall 8 concourse, upon presenting a valid ID and leaving a security deposit to be charged if wheelchair is not returned. Wheelchairs provided by ADNEC are loaned on a first-come and first-served basis and can’t be reserved. Please contact the first aid team to learn more information 02 406 4456. F&B FAQs
Can I bring outside food?
ADNEC does not allow external food in the premises. This year Comic Con has a wide selection of F&B. We will make exceptions case by case at the venue.
What food options will be available?
There will be multiple food trucks located at the venue offering a wide range of food options. Please see our food truck page to browse some of the options.
