Terms and Conditions - Attendees
Behavioural Standards: This event is a professional environment. Participants must treat others with dignity and respect and must not engage in discriminatory or harassing behaviour. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure their behaviour aligns with UAE regulations, local laws, cultural expectations and our Event Code of Conduct at all times.
Event Entry and Attendance: MEFCC reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who violates these terms, our Event Code of Conduct, engages in inappropriate behaviour, possesses inappropriate products, or acts in a manner that is
- against the laws of the UAE
- against UAE cultural guidelines
- disrupts the event.
Prohibited Items: Attendees are not permitted to bring any items to the event that are illegal, unsafe, offensive, or culturally inappropriate under UAE laws. This includes, but is not limited to, weapons, alcohol, drugs, or materials that promote political views, hate speech or indecency.
Cultural Sensitivity: Attendees must respect the cultural norms, values and laws of the UAE. Clothing, cosplay costumes, cosplay props, language, and behaviour must align with local customs and our Event Code of Conduct.
Photography and Media: By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed by the Event Organiser for promotional purposes. Personal photography is allowed but must not invade others' privacy and requires consent. Always seek permission before taking photos of or with other cosplayers, talent, performers, or attendees.
Liability: MEFCC is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
Compliance with Laws: All attendees must always comply with UAE laws and regulations.
Failure to comply with our Event Code of Conduct and any of these terms and conditions may result in refusal of entry or immediate removal from the event without refund, and in severe cases, legal action may be taken in accordance with UAE laws. MEFCC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Terms and Conditions - Cosplayers
Behavioural Standards: This event is a professional environment. Cosplayers must treat others with dignity and respect and must not engage in discriminatory or harassing behaviour. It is the responsibility of Cosplayers to ensure their behaviour aligns with UAE regulations, local laws, cultural expectations and our Event Code of Conduct at all times. Cosplayers must respect personal boundaries and avoid inappropriate interactions with other attendees. Harassment, physical altercations, indecent behaviour, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the event and reported to the relevant local authorities.
Costume Guidelines: Costumes must adhere to UAE cultural and legal standards and our Event Code of Conduct. Avoid revealing, offensive, or inappropriate attire. Costumes that include religious, political, or culturally sensitive elements are strictly prohibited.
Prop Regulations: Props resembling weapons must be inspected and approved by event security. Real weapons or dangerous items are not allowed and will be confiscated by MEFCC event staff onsite.
Photography Consent: Always seek permission before taking photos of or with other cosplayers, talent, performers, or attendees.
Changing Areas: Designated changing areas are provided for cosplayers. Please use these facilities and respect others’ privacy.

Terms and Conditions - Exhibitors & Artist Alley Clients
Product & Promotional Compliance: All products and promotional materials at the event must comply with UAE laws and cultural guidelines and our Event Code of Conduct. Items that are offensive, indecent, unsafe, or promote illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Behavioural Standards: This event is a professional environment. Exhibitors must treat others, including attendees, other exhibitors, and event staff with dignity and respect and must not engage in discriminatory or harassing behaviour. It is the responsibility of Exhibitors to ensure their behaviour aligns with UAE regulations, local laws, cultural expectations and our Event Code of Conduct at all times.
Branding and Displays: Exhibitors must ensure that any branding, signage, and displays align with UAE laws, local regulations, cultural values, and our Event Code of Conduct. Content that is religiously, politically, or culturally sensitive is not allowed.
Health and Safety: Exhibitors must comply with all health and safety regulations set by the event organisers and UAE authorities. Hazardous materials or unsafe setups are prohibited.
Liability: MEFCC is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to exhibitor property. Exhibitors are encouraged to secure their belongings.
Compliance with UAE Laws: Exhibitors must adhere to all UAE laws and regulations, including those related to intellectual property, product safety, and business conduct.
